
The Peacock Feathers Shawl is a stylized version of a peacock's tail in full display, from the small feathers at the top of the peacock's back, down to the dramatic sweep of the tail.
Recommended for Advanced Intermediate knitters. Shown using JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 2/18 Lace Weight Yarn in color Peacock. The JaggerSpun Super Fine Merino 2/18 lace weight yarn can also be used for this pattern.

This shawl is knit on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles. It is worked by casting on three stitches, then increasing to create a triangular shape. After knitting the edging, a crochet cast off is worked to create a delicate, lacy finish.
The recommended gauge is 28 stitches and 36 rows in the swatch chart pattern within the pattern leaflet.
This pattern was developed using the JaggerSpun Zephry Wool-Silk 2/18 lace weight yarn. The JaggerSpun Super Fine Merino line can be used interchangeably with this pattern. Either two (2) 2-oz pre-wound balls or (1) 4-oz custom-wound ball of either of these yarn lines is necessary in order to complete this project.
