Try Before You Buy: Request Yarn For Swatching
We are strong believers in “swatching-and-blocking” before starting a project with a new yarn. Following this practice, among numerous other things, will enable you to determine whether or not you will enjoy working with a particular yarn, and you’ll be able to gauge what the finished garment will look like and if it will meet your quality expectations. Therefore, we offer yarn in small quantities so that you can try-before-you-buy.
Here is how this program works:
- We include an amount of yarn so that you can make a swatch approximately 4 inches x 4 inches in stockinette stitch
- We include the color card set for each yarn line that you would like to swatch
- Your purchase is noted in our system as a store credit against each yarn line requested and will be applied towards your next corresponding yarn line purchase. For example, if you order samples for the Mission Falls 1824 Superwash Merino Wool and Classic Elite Provence, you will be charged $8.50. We will deduct $4.25 from your next purchase of Mission Falls 1824 Superwash Merino Wool, and $4.25 from your next purchase of Classic Elite Provence.
